EyeSustain 2026 Sustainability Video Contest
The FOCUS group (Fostering Ophthalmology Curriculum for Understanding Sustainability), in collaboration with EyeSustain and ASCRS, is hosting a short video contest highlighting sustainability in ophthalmology and general healthcare. The contest is open to ophthalmology trainees, practicing ophthalmologists, and allied eye care professionals, with both individual and team submissions accepted. Videos must be 60 seconds or less and focus on sustainability-related topics such as waste reduction, operating room or clinic-based initiatives, pharmaceutical sustainability, education, or innovative solutions.
Submissions will be judged by guest judge Dr. Glaucomflecken based on creativity, clarity, audience engagement, and impact. First, second, and third place videos will be selected. The first-place video will be featured at the 2026 ASCRS Film Festival, and all winning videos will be promoted by the ASCRS Foundation. Submissions are open February 10 through March 15, 2026, and winners will be announced prior to the Annual ASCRS Meeting.
